And that's the dilemma, because our fiscal problems are too big for a single person to deal with. There are plenty of people who want the job as president, but the real problem lies with "We the People" and that's the only place we can find the solutions we need. Leadership can inspire us, but it is going to be a daunting task to muster the political will to get the deficit moving in the right direction. There are no quick fixes and government has become bloated and fat. It didn't happen overnight and it's going to require time to streamline the political system. We really need the kind of road map that Paul Ryan has discussed and a bipartisan effort to go with it, but the longer we put off getting started on this the harder it is going to be.
