The question is does a government have the right legislating the use of drugs. The only reason certain drugs are illegal is they compete with legal drugs that are sanctioned by law makers and prescribed for you by doctors who get paid by drug companies to hook you up.

It only costs $100 billion a year to wage a war on drugs which is but a mere piffle to a wealthy country. It creates employment for lawyers, clerks and enforcement officers who produce absolutely nothing in the process. The way the system works now it is in no one’s interest to have the laws obeyed. The only power the government has is the power to crack down on citizen/criminals. No government wants a nation of law-abiding citizens.

North Americans pill themselves to death with legal and illegal drugs. Might as well build more prisons and make smoking and drinking illegal to.
