1/20/12 Contest Update
For much of the four-day trading week investors continued to focus on the full half of the glass, pouring more of their dollars into stocks. At Friday’s close, the NBI was up 8.32% YTD (vs. up 7.50% YTD a week ago) and the Contest median was up 7.99% YTD (vs. up 8.21% YTD a week ago). The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 6.97% YTD (vs. up 4.05% YTD a week ago).
PGO’s portfolio remained the Contest leader and now sports a 21.25% YTD gain. Taking second place is DOUGH’s portfolio, up 17.56% YTD, with BIOFISH, up 16.42% YTD, holding on to third place.
At Friday's close, 36 of the 38 Contest portfolios were in the black with 19 of the 38 beating the NBI.
