Persecuted? With all the marital, etc. baggage he carries? I don't think so. It's a sad commentary on American political life that someone with Newt's lack of judgment can be thought of as persecuted. He has made his own bed. O! Must relish the thought of running against him. The masses love his rhetoric and aggression, but he is simply not electable.
