Let's talk from a purely political angle then.

You are incredibly naive. Even if Republicans make further gains in the house and are incredibly fortunate enough to take 60+ Senate seats, it won't make one bit of difference if Obama remains as president. He will veto any and all legislation that seeks to roll back his agenda. Only a republican (any republican) president will prevent that. The best scenario we can hope for are good working majorities in both the house and senate with the additional 5-6 conservative senate seats tipping the balance to real conservatives in the senate. I hope and pray enough Democratic senators will put the country first and prevent a continuous filibuster. I don't think the country will stand for two consecutive elections rejecting the liberal agenda without some real change in direction. And you are troubled about what??? If you vote for Obama......liberal elitists will call you a useful idiot. I'd call you a dumbfuck.
