I'll never forget waking up one morning after an ice storm and how it looked when I opened the door. EVERYTHING was covered with a couple of inches of ice. It really did look like a winter wonderland. Being from Seattle, I'd never seen such a thing. We still have a lot of snow in our yard, and it will probably be around for a few more days. We have a couple of spots that are always in the shade and they take the longest. We went up to the cabin today to check on things and we still have at least 2 1/2' in our yard up there. It is hard to get around when there is that much snow on the ground. It's not nice fluffy snow.............it's hard and very wet like newly poured concrete.
