True. Let me revise. When it comes to education, I'm all for free education through college AND for increasing teacher salaries to attract higher quality. No argument there.

When it comes to Health Care, I'm for it, but am worried that our government's involvement will lower the standard of care and increase the costs. In particular, what I worry about is that as it stands right now, we ALREADY can't afford the health care portion of the US budget. So we need to figure out how to pay for that first, before we add on even more costs to the programs. I suggest we cut the military by 50% for starters and increase taxes back to Clinton's days as a good follow up. If we can balance our budget, then I'd be for cutting other things to increase Health Care coverage in other areas.

So is it doable? Yes, but we'd need to prioritize it and cut other things. I'm just not in the camp of thinking how to spend more money before we've balanced our budget. We need to be thinking about how to cut expenses, not how to get further in debt. First things first.
