I challenge you to find a single statement where I've said government should reduce its oversight. Go ahead, because I've never said that.

You just don't read what I post carefully Chinu. You believe I'm a GOP member (despite having voted for Obama and Kerry before him) and so you lump me in with every other GOP member. You can't imagine a world with someone who is Centrist like me, because we don't fit your stereo-types very nicely.

Look, I'll say it again. I'm for fierce enforcement of laws and regulations. That by definition means a very muscular government influence in private industry. If we'd had that, then we would NOT have had the Gulf Oil spill disaster with BP. We would not have had the recent economic meltdown and we'd not have CEOs of banks who are criminals getting paid with tax payer money millions in bonuses.

I want government to INCREASE its oversight and make themselves more effective. Our government doesn't need new laws. They need to enforce the ones we have. There is no excuse for the Executive Branch to be derelict in its duty to vigorously enforce the rule of law and prosecute the criminals. It's one more reason, I don't like Obama anymore. He refuses to Execute the law and defend the Constitution. He prefers to make it up as he goes along. Well, that is what Dictators do. Until we go back to being a country that abides by the rule of law, we'll continue to have larger and larger meltdowns that cannot be fixed.
