i really don't get conservative support for newt: Do conservatives condone serial adultery? Lack of discipline? Lobbysts for Freddie Mac? Support for everything the Tea Party hated about Bush? A former Speaker who had to give up this most powerful position on account of a scandal? He is disorganized, pompous and has the ethics of an alley cat. Oh, yeah, he 'fights.' it's almost as if the GOP has decided that it cannot win, that O! has already won, but will go down in flames. it's the 'mad as hell and i'm not going to take it anymore' vote. we live in crazy times.
