Verizon had to offer a special deal - twice the data for the same price - in order to move that many LTE devices. They offered no such special deal on the iPhone, yet managed to move two and a half times as many. And Verizon doesn't have any $0 iPhones. In any case, the iPhone outsold all Android phones combined on Verizon.
