Chris,...let me explain my story. About three weeks ago I purchased First Aid 98, after seeing it in a software store. I have used Norton Utilities 3.0 and many other products like these before.

When you go to install First Aid 98 it automatically installs Microsoft Explorer 4.0? Whether you want it or not. Then it makes the Cybermedia Web page your new home page! That's how I first found these discussion groups where there were at least 100 outraged users. Most of the complaints were that the product doesn't work.
Sure enough when I tried to run it, and it crashed my system.

I kept up with the bulletin board to see if a patch would come out. It hasn't. I returned the product because I don't have time to waste with technical support on somehting like this. Plus I just read that Norton Utilities 3.0 just came out and was getting rave reviews.

When Cybermedia shut down the discussion group on Wednesday,...I knew something was up. Plus the discussion group was blasting their other new product Guard Dog.

I decided to short this stock this morning. Prior to this I just was looking for the product to work.

Tom

P.S. I sell computers (servers) for a living and the last two companies I work for (Fortune 500, their names) begin with a D and C.
