To hoffy and all. For most of the people here we know the bid/ask is most important. However, there are many traders who at the end of the day check the closing price. A positive close normally gives these investors a good feeling. The mind set would be, "hey after 2 down days we finally had an upday". I think it's psychological. By the way to answer someones question, I think I would rather a close of 1.39 with the bid/ask 1.35/1.39.

To David M.: I think the miscommunication in our parts was due to you missing one of my posts while you were writing yours to me. That's why I wondered what you meant by "are you still here?".
