Elroy, you been out of the country and not paying taxes here all of your life? Babbling babies in their cribs here know more about the charitable tax law than you do. :>)

It's quite simple and easy to understand. You set up an non-profit NGO and you can take in gifts as charity all you want. People can deduct it from their income tax up to 10% of their gross. Buy a picture, get it appraised for a bundle and give it to a museum. It's one of the biggest tax rackets going.
