Spilled milk: Obama's 'ridiculous interpretation' of regulation
Rep. Louie Gohmert: 'Derelection of duty' will be felt far into future

In his State of the Union message, President Obama described the U.S. economy as on the rebound. He also tried to convince skeptics that he was being aggressive on developing domestic energy, rolling back burdensome regulations and working to reduce our national debt.

But Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) tells WND the facts are far different from the rhetoric.

“He has been slow walking the permits … and so he has the luxury of taking credit of for the drilling permits that were issued under Bush that are just now coming to fruition and bringing oil and gas to the market and unfortunately the damage his administartion has been doing through the Interior and EPA is going to be felt in the next administration.”

Gohmert tells us who is really responsible for the recent surge in oil and natural gas production. He says the president is greatly increasing government regulations despite the language Obama used in the speech, and Gohmert also sheds some light on the milk regulation the Obama so proudly repealed.

“It’s his administration that has caused that kind of ridiculous interpretation of old rules.”

He also explains why he believes the president’s talk on spending and the national debt was either ignorant or deceptive.
