she wrote the book...while experiencing trance states.. literally..wore Hadrian's signet ring.. laid out.. on top of his tomb... visited..many of the places he walked.. I read it twice in 4 years or so.. she writes..as if a poem was her intention.. I love her stuff... took her about 25 years to complete WWII interfered.....
