We have 2 generators one 2k and one 5.5…and I am with you on the gasoline bit. The 2k uses much less gas. We also have non ethanol gas station locally…but locally for us means 7.5 miles away. If power goes out gas pumps won't work that makes it a very fragile resource. I got a couple of different siphons to get gas out our cars' and the truck gas tanks if necessary. We always refill our gas tanks when they get 1/2 empty. Also put a 100 MPG MOPED on our list to buy so we can have some mobility available. A friend who likes to drink calls MOPEDs…….alkapeds. He had to use one for a year.
