Just heard part of the Republican debate. Romney had a good night, Santorum also (when allowed), but Gingrich was a bit flat, at just the wrong time for him.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned on this thread: Florida has mail in voting, and half a million ballots have already been turned in. Most were voted before South Carolina. This is Romney's ace in the hole. Also, unlike most states this year, Florida is winner-take-all - 50 delegates.

Update: good boxing analogy from CNN. Newt threw haymakers at Romney, but none connected. Romney was well prepared, and threw jabs at Newt, jab, jab, jab, some of which connected. So Romney won on points.
