This is my own personal opinion, but I believe the animosity began when a certain poster whom I will not name and one who visits infrequently but usually around election time started posting negative articles about every other candidate but Mitt Romney here on this thread. As expected, posters here have their favorite candidates and when they saw him/her being (what they considered) unfairly attacked they responded. As the personal attacks became more frantic, some, including myself became more aggressive and it took off from there. Before that started happening, there was a lot of harmony between all of us on this thread, but those negative and unfair attacks changed everything imo.
