They laugh at Hindu beliefs that deify humans, and Greek claims about gods sleeping with women, but they have no problem believing that the Holy Spirit impregnated Mary, who then gave birth to a man-god who got killed, came back to life and then ascended into the sky.
Think that might be favorite one , lol....had dinner tonight at nice Indian restaurant , slow night stopping to chat with a pretty young Indian hostess who had book & paper out studying in a booth . Asked her what she was involved with & she said English and she had Golding's "Lord of the Flies" before her . Chatted for almost 45mins about all things human & history and what a pleasure to converse with her , really sweet and she was open about so many things .
World is changing , we talked of politics & the Middle East , Indian history & society , Religion , China and Pakistan & all what the future holds ...only 22 yrs old and had tremendous grasp of things far greater than these Peter Popoff knockoffs running around . What a nice time , beautiful girl lots of understanding & poised , live in an area where people are for the most part "non threatened" and open culturally where most all races treat each other with respect . Real fun time spent talking with her tonight , of course had to unleash my insights into world improvement ...one step at a time ! |
