I agree. I watched the debate last night too. Romney is a serious executive on a very large scale. That experience is hard to beat. I know he goes back and forth on issues, which is what politicians do, and that irritates me, but I like his practical business experience. Obama is showing his lack of knowledge on how economies work. All this bailout, ZIRP, and lack of prosecution shit is killing the goose. Romney may have done better. Anyway, he's looking better to me. Gingrich continues to look like a clown to me. He's too erratic and self-important. Santorum scares me. He's a 100% certified zealot, plus he claimed last night that Global Warming is a hoax, which tells me he's also an anti-science idiot. At least Gingrich and Romney believe in energy independence. Romney would be a better steward of our planet. Plus, I like that Romney was a Democrat earlier in his life. That shows that he's flexible and more of a moderate, even though he has to come across as a staunch conservative to win the GOP nomination.
Still my favorite is Ron Paul. He says all the right things on the economy. I wish he was electable, but I'll settle for him becoming Fed Chairman with Romney as President. That looks like a better combination than Obama, who will continue to destroy the foundation of our economy through QE, ZIRP, non-prosecution, bailouts, and arrogation of more dictatorial powers like NDAA. |
