zeta, I don't keep track of what positions are being taken here by posters. Hence it is a tall order to expect that I should post on this topic to you. My point is that Obama needs to fulfill the wishes of the majority if he expects people to vote for him. People want him to address the job situation. The WH needs to support their claim that the project will not create as many jobs as in being advocated by the unions and the Republican party. I wonder why the labor unions are for it then. I am for advocating diminished use of oil to preserve our environment here in this country. But if we start being a barrier for other countries to buy and sell oil and not be smart enough to even make some money in the process, that looks stupid. Do you really believe that the use of oil is evil or do you believe that it is just bad. My environmentalist friends from Greenpeace here and overseas, who are all rich and retired believe that oil use is evil. And that is ridiculous.

I have indicated several times in the past that I am against any organized form of political action. As a firm believer in democracy, I only support organized political activities resulting from the spontaneous reaction of the general masses as evidenced during the downfall of the USSR from mass demonstrations in Moscow square, the Tahrir squares in Tunis, Libya and hopefully soon to be in Damascus. Not for any organized political activities such as those of labor unions, environmentalists, the rich people etc.

That is just my way. I don't expect others to follow mine but I have a right as anyone else to express them.
