Al, the big difference here is unions. Unions helped sink GM and Chrysler. Unions are the reason why GM and Chrysler got bailouts. The only reason why love the Volt, the only reason why you are defending GM as an "iconic" symbol of American industrialism, is because Obama is making GM a campaign prop. Tenchusatsu
