Ten, do YOU think "right wing social engineering" is any better than "left wing social engineering"?

Ryan's plan is better than nothing. But I can't blame Gingrich for thinking he has a better idea. He may be wrong, of course, but he was wrongly criticized for the remark.

Gingrich's point was entirely sensible if you listen to the entire interview: He was simply pointing out that rather than having the Right impose fundamental changes on the Medicare system (as Harry Reid did with Obamacare), it makes sense to have a "national conversation" about it and try to reach some consensus.

There has been no workable, truthful approach to Medicare reform. I think Gingrich was just pointing out that fact. Ryan was making a valiant effort to come up with something, but would you argue there isn't a better way to go about it?
