The Pres of Denver's Greater Metro Telecommunications Consortium complained publicly yesterday that she was put on hold for 25 minutes last Friday by TCI [TCOMA]. In response, TCI said the company is adjusting to the "overwhelming" response to its digital offering earlier this month. The MSO emphasized that reps are answering 92% of calls in under 30 seconds, higher than the 90% standard, and it will evaluate customer service needs. The consortium also objected to TCI passing through higher franchise fees to customers as a result of the 5th Circuit Court's ruling in August regarding calculating fees. The group will wait until the FCC has reviewed the ruling before taking action.
