Our area is becoming very well-armed. I know this because sometimes I assist at the COP Shop, where we greet people coming in to renew or apply for a concealed carry permit with the Undersheriff, who comes down once a month for that purpose. The last time I did this we broke the record for permit applications in one day: 25. The Undersheriff says we have hundreds of permits in our area alone. Our fitness center is advertising a self-defense training program. I don't know yet whether it includes firearms training, but I'm interested.
