OT....We need all the good scientists and engineers we can find in this country...If he has the grades and the will to study hard then he should apply...Tell him not to worry, there are MANY women in neighboring schools, and the women who are in the school, are just as smart, or smarter, than he is.... One of my good friends was a graduate from there in 1948 with a degree in Chemistry. She was one of just a handful of women at that time....VERY smart and VERY nice woman!
