Regarding fuel needed for defense -----this is Republican George Allen's Recent Interview. Allen is a Candidate's for US Senate in November 2012 in Virginia. George Alen is a former Governor of Virginia . He was a United States Senator until Jim Webb ran as a Democrat the last time an unseated him. After holding the Senate seat for 1 term, Webb is not running again. Allen's opposition is former DNC Chairman Tim Kaine . Obama was endorsed by Democrat Governor Tim Kaine in 2008. Many thought that Kaine was going to be Obama's choice for VP----instead Kaine became the Democrat National Committee Chairman. This is the position that Debbie Wasserman now holds DNC Chairman. Kaine originally distanced himself from Obama for this 2012 campaign; however, he is now running arm in arm with Obama . Advertisements by Kaine and Obama are already beginning here in Virignia which is a battle ground state for the Presidency. Obama vowed to take Virginia and North Carolina.
