Actually, we do get a good deal since we cruise a lot, we've taken more than 60 cruises with this cruise lines, so they give us all kinds of incredible perks... but I'll tell you, we have NEVER cruised with Costa , I've had only one experience with them, it was horrible... the crew was pathetic, I was Costa's guest for lunch one time when they were in port here, they have ships that dock here regularly every week, the dining room was not air conditioned, they had no ice for ice water, the food was inferior, honestly, we could never sail with them... certainly, the ship disaster was a tragedy, but it could almost be expected considering the substandard way they run their company... there are different grades or class levels of cruise lines, some are far more up scale and you would never find that kind of nonsense on a more refined cruise ship...
