I did....wouldn't it have been a wonderful experience to actually meet both Adams and Jefferson? Quarrel as they did, the difference is dramatic on several levels today. Communication today versus then.....Can't begin to compare. Education by home school vs today where we spend billions? Again...not a very good comparison...yesterday would win here. National Defense...Today, a missile (9-11 type or otherwise) can/did cause Billions of dollars of damage and killed over 3,000 people at one swoop....vs yesterday when equal damage could be done, but it took a good deal longer to do it.
