I am sure he (and his church) want him to be the Mormon JFK. The Mormons had a huge push, I think it was last year, to make their religion more non-Mormon-people friendly. I remember one of the ads had a guy in a lab coat talking about how he could be both a scientist and a religious man (yeah, sure, as long as your science doesn't touch on any of the Mormon beliefs). So while Mitt won't ever say it (because it would scare the hell out of evangelicals)I'm sure more than anything he longs for his Mormon underwear to be mainstream. And why shouldn't a crazy hoax from the New World be equal to a crazy hoax from the ME? I am fine with them being equal- i just don't think that's a good enough reason to elect Mitt. Not even for republicans. The man is as empty as a squashed soda can, and about as likely to do any good for the 99% of us who aren't Mitt-ites
