As I said, that was an excellent video on Jerusalem Syndrome. The experts interviewed were very competent in describing the hysterical disconnect from reality and the benefit of hospitalization and social care. I don't know if Brummer and gregoree approach or pass that level of dysfunction, but Institutionalization and social care in such instances is a very real need and a very appropriate societal response to mental illness and human suffering. I see that they (the two VI's) have responded in a typically insincere manner and tried to pretend that treatment for mental illness is what Stalin did when he abused enemies of the State? They are comparing societal care for the mentally incompetent with a dictator abusing human rights! WOW! Definitely a disconnect from reality there!! Thanks for that video. Sometimes we prefer not to notice the human suffering and struggles of those in our communities, and that video brings home the fact that the mentally ill and the needy interact with us each and every day and often slip under our radar because we think it is always in "Jerusalem" or some other neighbourhood...
