tech: If CSGI's tool does what they say it does, it would put it ahead of some other similar tools that are attempting to do the same type of thing. Many of the tools are merely "assistants" when it comes to the actual change process. Some of them, however, do a pretty good job of tracking down date fields by tracking the origin of the data. Whether or not CSGI's tool is better at that remains to be seen. From the marketing hype that I've read, CSGI's tool would be about on an even keel with what MatriDigm's tool is touted to do for the conversion phase. However, MD's tool also has this fancy-shmancy 'test' phase that is supposed to be better than hot chocolate on vanilla ice cream. It's gotta' be REAL good, cuz' I'm a chocoholic. (Did you catch that hint guys at CSGI? When I show up for the demo, have some chocolate chip cookies available!) TED
