as i said, the far right is getting more and more entrenched in the belief that it will take another right wing conservative to beat obama....the irony is santorum and ron paul are the real conservatives in the race

ultimately the eye on the prize should be ejecting obama from office and that is why the fight is so intense, it's coming down to electability, imo....i have concluded that a more centrist candidate has the best odds of winning the independents and moderates who put obama over the top in 2008....that points to romney for now

taking sowell's football analogy further, the odds are really stacked against a win if you are *relying* on a hail mary pass
