I am not an copywrite attorney or anything so I would not know. Slander has been done on the internet for years. People do many a strange thing including makeing up false emails and what knot. You can be convicted on the internet by mere accusations which most of the time are proven to discredit the person that post the so call slander or accusation.

Typical internet scam to discredit people some do not like. Heck people even post insider information and actually do not take the blame of something they created. The internet is fraught with deception and lies by people want to gain a portion of the cyberworld.

Cyberbigots run throughout the internet. False claims and what not are just part of it to. If someone were to post something confidential between them and someone else and was ask not to I think that would only discredit the person posting the breech.

Heck getting accused of snerting or being multiple people on the internet is basically a scam people use to accuse others of to try and make themselves look good and gain credibility. Common sense I think would best be used in posting and some could care less about what they post.

Besides anything can be altered or changed by just one word to slam someone.
