<< FIDO...if i may.../you cashed all iom shares??? great piece of baffoonery,if you pull it off.. but if you mess it up you'll look like a fool. >>
Well, I've never minded looking like a fool, but that is not how I will look at it. I have no special knowledge, but I have determined that IOM has a greater chance of going down than ii does of going up, this all short-term (one or two days) of course, and since I believe I got a very fair price for my stock, I'm content. You may have noticed that my sell price of 32 9/16 was considerably higher than the price that obtained towards the end of the trading day, so I could have made a paper profit by buying back in, but i was just not convinced that it'll open higher next week. If it rockets up on monday, and continues to trade up, I'll get in again. There's no shame in missing a jump here or there. I'm not at all interested in day-to-day profiting, but in an overall trading strategy that will, by next year, make me a substantial living. I lost a bit in my first six months with E*TRADE, but I seem to be doing OK now, and it's not because of the bull market.
