You never did care what happened to people.

What has happened in Asia is that hundreds of millions of people have risen from the starvation of subsistence farming to the lower rungs of industry. They do not yet have the skills to perform higher jobs, but they will continue to rise. Are those low wage factory workers really worse off than their parents and grandparents were?

You seem to be the one who doesn't care about people.
