But those blue bits you can see through the frame would be white, with a kilometre of snow on the other side. Which would mean the frame would need to be stronger. You would also need a heat source. And light. You would most likely have very few neighbours. Nearer the equator, there are vast tracts of uninhabited land if you like solitude and can afford the lifestyle.
