Dear George:

I honestly did not feel I was "whoring out" to the inflammatory and obscene incitations of the Terry/Johnny "crap" (I am putting quotes around words I of course am much too refined to use, but which you did utter, so that it is clear they did not come from me). When I wrote that post I was taking something that Johnny said that I thought was funny but a little self-important, and just turning it around and deflating it slightly, so that he does not get a swelled head!!!! (Absolutely no play on words is intended here, nor will it be tolerated!!!)

Johnny is very smart but can get a little pugnacious and egotistical. One of my more enjoyable of my tasks at SI is to make sure his socialization skills are adequate, and unmitigated boasting doesn't reflect the maturity which his intellect--and sometimes his writing skills--bring to his posts. So I was simply attempting to be of assistance!!!

If you reread my post, I would think you would notice it is quite prim and Victorian in tone, and only perhaps slightly suggestive . . . it was actually quite a tongue-in-cheek spoof, obviously much too subtle!!

Perhaps you have simply not followed my writings for long enough to know that while I don't enjoy crudeness or rudeness of any kind, I am a little uninhibited and outspoken once in awhile, as would reflect my liberal Left Coast lifestyle and my Marxist, humanist, hippie education at the University of California in the late sixties.

I did not know, however, that I was "alienated", and would be interested in hearing more about this!!!
