Don't forget that the natural aging of the baby boomer generation now has roughly 10,000 people A DAY starting onto Social Security rolls.

That adds up to a lot in a year....

That one fact alone accounts for a heck of a lot of the declining trend showing in the work force participation charts, (since each addition to S.S. is one less person that shows up in the Bureau of Labor Statistics' unemployment numbers but also one less person in the employed portion of the economy --- which shows in the declining work force participation percentage.)

The population demographics are not static.
