Thanks for your response. I greatly appreciate your knowledge and
expertise in this area. As I understand it then, it is not necessarily desirable for JavaOS to be ported to chip except in
certain situations due to its eventual obsolescense just like alot
of software I know. Wouldn't this be a way of continued revenue
however? Either buy a new chip or buy a new machine, phone, etc.
Sounds very desirable from vendors point of view. BTW, LG chip
will not be manufactured until the first half of 1998 sometime.
