In the past strong growth in the public sector has also been a drag on the private sector. People, physical resources, money, that would have been in the private sector, instead get pulled in to the government.

You are so FOS. You have little understanding of how a society works. You need to give up your love affair with Ayn Rand, and join the real world.

There would be no society or country without the public sector. They do the dirty work that the private sector refuses to do.
