No challenges of it's legality prevailed. "Also irrelevant." (Not so! On many occasions you intimated that something was illegal about the actions. But not illegal.) "Perfectly legal, doesn't equal or even suggest that it was reasonable or beneficial" No... but the jobs saved and created and the multitude of companies preserved in the supply and distribution chains, and the federal, state, and local tax revenues saved, and the unemployment costs forgone ALL testify to the "beneficial" argument.
