No challenges of it's legality prevailed.

(Not so! On many occasions you intimated that something was illegal about the actions. But not illegal.)

No... but the jobs saved and created and the multitude of companies preserved in the supply and distribution chains, and the federal, state, and local tax revenues saved, and the unemployment costs forgone ALL testify to the "beneficial" argument.
