Ahh... misery loves company!! I have a similar position in government. Tonight I go to hear how my township has to save a barn close to the township office. It's essentially an oversized corrugated tin shack currently in the process of "Demolition by neglect" which the township has no use for and is a fire/safety hazard to boot. Estimated cost to get it up to merely fit for agriculture is (drum roll please) $120-160K. Rest assured, some nitwit will show up babbling about making it fit for human use. Some other nitwit will talk about using it for public storage and getting revenue from it.
