Hi Stills,

I think we are talking at cross purposes here. QNTM as I see it has a disk storage biz,a "DD", one of which is required at present for every PC, and they have an archival TAPE biz. The latter is an optional bolt on, used primarily by industry at present, but with a huge growth rate potential for home usage. This will come about when movies become available for downloading for example.
Although they are both storage applications, the technologies are completely different.
For a whole lot of reasons, some of which I just listed in a posting to Lawrence, it may be a logical move for MB to concentrate on only one of these technologies, ie Archival Storage.
