I am afraid to take Nyquil, Del. I have heard that it is quite addictive, and can become the evening beverage of choice for a whole, cold winter. Do you ever take more than the recommended dosage? Does it make you feel REALLY good? Is your tongue green right now?
I am totally tired of debating Freddy with or without you, so you must feel fatigued on your own!! I am still a little weak with the aftermath of the flu and an ear infection which makes me feel like my brain is disconnected, so I am at a severe disadvantage. All those Freddy wheels spinning with epistemology, Aquinas and Aristotle can really obscure arguments, and Skipper is correct when he describes them as circular. There is a whole world beyond that, but of course minds need to struggle to stay open!!
Did you hear about the new fusion reactor? The entire article has just been published in the journal "Science", but here is a brief blurb from the SF Chronicle today:
"Physicists in California and Florida say they have designed a compact, boron-gueled fusion reactor that would make low-cost electricity with no radiation hazards and may be much easier to build than the monster machines now favored by m ajor federal programs.
If it, or other new ideas for fusion reactors, do work, they would have immense impact on the world's economy, and on worries over greenhouse warming of the climate from the burning of fossil fuels.
Units of the new design would be small enough to be built anywhere. A drawing of a proposed prototype shows a machine about four times the size of a city bus. It would generate 50 megawatts of power--enough for a town of about 50,000 people."
I have the whole article, if you cannot find information about it elsewere and would like me to send it to you. |
