PC market in each Asian market:

Taiwan : People just buy domestic made computers, CPQ and IBM do not have much narket shares.

Japan: PC used to be very epensive in Japan, but with recent price cut
by CPQ, CPQ will expand its market shares from existing Japanese PC makers like NEC, Fujitsu, instead of adding up market shares from new market.

Korea : Samsung/ AST

China: No impact on the currency, and market continues growing big
every year.

India: No impact on currency, and market is continuing growing fast.

Australia, Newzeland: No impact at all

The rest of south east asia, Phippine, indonesia, malasia, vietnam,
thailand: The market is just very small at all and did
not count of CPQ's worldwide market share at all.
Just remember that 0.5% 's 0.5% is o.25%, can be well
made up by the growth of other area..

Middle East: No impact
People should remember that Not everyone is in the stock market in the S.E. Asia countries, the impact of stock market crash may not have
such a big impact as what we think orginally, and those in the market
may not invest 100% of their wealth in the market at all.
