No, it is clear that you offer supporting reasons, but that is not the point. Below you say, "yes, I admit that because..." John: "So you admit, once again, that you believe that a White person calling Michelle Obama a 'smelly gorilla' is racist, but a Black person calling George Bush a 'chimp' is not." jlallen: "Yes....for obvious reasons, amply explained previously." The bottom line is that you believe that Blacks deserve better treatment than Whites, due to reasons that you have judged as qualifying by your standards. Others have a different view. The majority of people certainly do not believe that a White person calling Michelle Obama a 'smelly gorilla' is racist, but a Black person calling George Bush a 'chimp' is not. What if a White woman were to say, "Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama are a couple of apes." Is that a sexist and racist comment? The person making the statement is a White woman. Hillary is a White woman. Michelle is Black woman. Please explain your reasoning. Furthermore, are you really the one to be lecturing others about proper respect civility given your gross lack of civility and disrespect in this forum to the host and guests?
