I can not speak to meth or narcotics that are very addictive.

Alcohol and pot should be treated the same as far as driving is concerned not mixed.

Bottom line I do not mean this as an endorsement of any or all.

Drunks have a right and make a daily choice to get drunk.

So to do pot heads.

It is a personal decision to partake in a form of relaxation and /or enjoyment.

I know many who enjoy pot.

It gives me paranoia - so I never partake.

That's not to say I chastize those who do - it's their call.

I know enough people who responsibly enjoy pot that I know it is not the boogey man THE GOVERNMENT SAYS IT IS.

THE MONEY WE WASTE CHASING AFTER HIPPIES WHO ARE CHEATING THE GOVERNMENT BY SELLING A BLACK MARKET ITEM,COULD EASILY BE RECOVERED BY LEGALIZATION AND REVENUE TAXATION.

To me it is a waste of money that could become a revenue stream vs a billion cost each year.

The war on drugs is certainly as dismal a failure as was prohibition.

Both were doomed as it took our government into the private rights of the individual - a place were they have no right to be nor will they ever be effective.

I would like to see our government get out of that which isn't working.

They never do.

It is egregiously wasteful.

Let the people have their rights and the hard earned money they make.

If you want to be a drunk - you can be.
If you want to be a dope head - you can be.

If you want to be an addict - you can be.

They are all horrible but very personal decisions, only the individual can decide for themselves and only themselves.

I guess that makes me a libertarian of sorts.

I just don't like elitists telling me to live by their higher intelligence deduced worldly rules.

To be truthful I love 3-4 beers every night and am no cherry to be telling people how to live.LOL
