But the point I was trying to make is that if the door is opened by legalizing one mind-altering drug like pot, then SOMEONE has to make the choice where to draw the line.

I predict that if pot is legalized, the push to legalize other drugs will just take up where yours and Gersh's (and many others) push leaves off.

That is very ironic because IIRC, pot has been proven the "doorway" to harder drugs for many years now.

BTW: I live near Santa Cruz and see firsthand the "fruits" of legalizing the use of pot. It's not a pretty picture. It's not a world that you or I would want our children to have to live in.
