Texas Instruments Splits 2 for 1 as of Nov. 21

Hi Pat, it seems as though I bought twice as much TI as I was expecting. I had liked TI for a long time, and it seemed like it was at a good price point so like you I bought some after TI's announced buyout. I also like Motorola. Although they seem to have had difficulties, I believe they will eventually have a good product, and I don't believe the Amati/Motorola story is finished yet. I see both Motorola and TI as good stocks for many reason beyond ADSL so I have no trouble adding them to my portfolio.

P.S. Michael the Activist is simply a non-sequiteur. I was laughing as I wrote it, but I'm glad I told TI that a 5 for 1 (now 2 1/2 for 1)option would make me see the deal more favorably.

Michael
